GMR Varalakshmi Foundation established Sri G.C.S.R College of Education arm of the GMR Group, (http://gmrgroup.in) in the year 2006.  The institution offered a path for all the graduate students aspiring to become teachers. This college was started with a vision to provide the finest teacher-training program and guide the aspirants to a promising career in teaching. The college is affiliated to Andhra University and approved by NCTE, SRO Bangalore .
